Every time a new World of Warcraft expansion drops, the community enters a feverish race to the new level cap. Whether you are a speedrunner or a casual quester, knowing your “Time to Max” is essential for planning your raid schedule.
### Optimization Strategies
– **Questing vs. Dungeons:** Generally, organized dungeon groups are faster, but questing is more consistent for solo players. If you are averaging 800k XP/hr questing, our calculator will show you exactly how many zones you have left.
– **Rested XP:** Don’t forget to factor in Rested XP! It doubles your XP from monster kills. If you have a full bar of Rested XP, you can temporarily increase your “XP Rate” in our tool by 50% to see the impact.
– **Warbands Bonus:** In modern WoW, having multiple max-level characters grants an XP bonus to your alts. Make sure to adjust your rates if you have the 5%, 10%, or 25% Warband mentor bonus active.
